2018 Raffle Quilt: Rising Star Rainbow

 Rising Star Rainbow Quilt

RSQ's 2018 raffle quilt "Rising Star Rainbow" is the product of a collaborative effort by members of the Rising Star Quilters Guild. The quilt was designed and quilted by Chris Crouch and Jean Necheles. This beautiful machine-pieced, 91" X 101" king size quilt, is an overall geometric design in bright, vibrant colors. There isn't a pattern name for the quilt. Jean and Chris used a quilt of Valerie Page "Bright Scraps on Black" for our inspiration and expanded from there. Technically - it's a one row log cabin block. The material used in the blocks came from everyone's stash. A true group quilt! A portion of the proceeds were donated to the charity "REACH- beyond domestic violence." www.reachma.org
