2012 Raffle Quilt: Double the Fun
RSQ's 2012 raffle quilt "Double the Fun" is aptly named as the lucky winner will actually get two quilts in one. The double-sided quilt with scalloped edges has multicolored squares set on point on one side and cathedral window style circles in a blue color scheme on the reverse side. This vibrant quilt, measuring 77 x 84 inches, is machine quilted. It was constructed using the circle technique as described in a "Got Scraps?" pattern by Charlie Bement (issued in 2006 in the "American Quilter" magazine). The guild's signature rising star block is shown on the label of the quilt. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the charity "REACH - beyond domestic violence"
