Shoes, by Missy Shay
Quilted Object Quilt 4 x 10
Machine sewn selvages, Hand sewn onto soles
A customer came into the Cambridge Quilt Shop raving about making a pair of espadrille shoes. I was saving and using selvages and decided to fashion my shoes from the selvages. The soles are from Dritz. After some frustration-one part made too small, issues with the yarn/thread-I found the correct size shoe parts and the correct size cord and needle. Would I make them again? Who knows!!

Fantasy Garden, by Linda Whitehead
