My inspiration for the fabric used in this quilt came from the the border fabric from my stash. This pattern was from a mystery quilt; each month we were given new clues to complete. I Love Green, by Nancy Mimno
Wall Quilt 27 x 48

Scrappy quilt done for Jane Norberg's class in Lexington. I pulled any and all the green scraps I could find from the 2016 RSQ show kiddy pool of fabric for sale, then assembled them as we learned in class. This was my first ever start-to-finish quilt after trying out the techniques on a couple of small squares.
Mountains, by Nancy Mimno
Wall Quilt 42 x 54
Machine Pieced, Machine Quilted
Scrappy quilt done for Jane Norberg's class in Lexington. The strips were donated to us pre-cut. We each came up with our own variations where each block has a light and dark side. After many rearrangements, I put the darks and lights next to each other rather than alternating them.

Her wishes were achieved and she loved the final result. The quilting pattern Laurena and I chose really complimented the quilt.
