Radka Donnell: The Work of Touch
    Date:
    April 23 - July 12, 2009
    Description:
Thirty years ago, Radka was one of the first artists to embrace the idea of quilting as a women's art form. Embodying her unique vision of spirituality and self-expression, Radka's work honors every woman's distinct contribution to the warmth, peace, and joy in her environment throught the art of quilting. Radka believes we are all equally creative, and notes that one of the great joys of her career is helping others realize that creativity. A distinguished poet in addition to being a quilter, she has made a lasting impact on many in the art quilt movement.
